Story : Rest In Peace, Bulat.

STROKES: Usually it is older hamsters that suffer from strokes; however, occasionally a younger one will be stricken. The first sign of an impending stroke is the hamster tires easily and may even collapse after using the wheel. Normally the hamster is paralyzed on one side, looses its sense of balance and sometimes tilts its head to one side. Keep the cage in a warm quiet environment. Until the hamster begins to recuperate, it may be necessary to hand feed and water it. It generally takes a couple of weeks before it is up and moving around. In some cases the head tilt is permanent. Even after recovery, it is recommended that the hamster be kept in an aquarium with no wheel.

At 6pm, I received a call from Mok and she was crying. She told me Bulat had gone. First thing I asked her was, how did she died? Mok said she died in her hamster ball while Bujur was still in the cage. Mok exercised them daily to make sure both of em are healthy.

When I met Mok downstairs, and saw myself Bulat was still in the Hamsterball. Froze and was on her back. Died because of unknown cause. Mok said Bulat didnt show any bad sign or etc. Sawing Bulat, I cant stop myself from crying too. This cute thing died in a ball with no valid reason. If only Bulat could talk or show some sign of illness, we might be getting her to veterinar already. I dont know why did I cried, but I just felt very pity to Mok since the first reason we bought Bulat was to keep Mok's company everyday, and very 'terkilan' coz she died with no reason.

Cause of death, unknown.

I asked Mok to dig a hole nearby the mosque coz I dont have the strength to put Bulat in the ground. Mok dug a medium size hole and she was crying when she pull Bulat from the wheel and even asked whether she wants to wake up or not before putting her into the hole. Again, I cried because I do knew Mok loves Bulat so much.

Im still crying while typing this. Laugh all you want, but Im a man that loves animal. She didnt deserve to died like this, in a ball, frozen, no reason.

Rest in peace my dear Bulat. Im not sure whether any other Dwarf Hamster can replace Bulat in Mok's heart.

Few months ago, we adopt a hamster and we called it Bulat ( Round/circle, whatever you call it) and it had been with us for five months. Bulat's introduction can be found here.

Here is Bulat. Getting fluffy day by day. Love them very much. Anyway, Bulat is a Winter White Dwarf Hamster and its a female.


Anyway, here's the new addition in the cage.

Bujur (In English, its Oval!). Its a male, and it came from the Winter Pearl Dwarf Hamster family. Winter Pearl is the expensivest among others. There is another one in brown color called Winter Gold. Might be buying it soon.

Anyway, this fella is really really relaxed or the other word that suite him is; very very very very lazy! Hahaha. That's the reason why I can snap photos of it. Very relaxed till we can let it go on the dashboard from UTM till Kajang without it moving very much.

But one thing that Bujur really loves is to rape Bulat. LOL! So, Bulat might be pregnant in a few weeks. Anyone interested to take care of hamster?

Bulat's New House!

Few days ago, Mok (who already received her RM4600 scholarship money!) decided to spent a lil part of her money for Bulat. So, we surveyed Carrefour and found out that there is pet's section. And Mok bought a new house (2storey hose, mind you~), a new hamster ball, more foods for her, bathing sand, and.. Emm, I think thats all.

And we bought another one for my brother for getting 8A's in his PMR. Her name is Kechik since she is 1/2 size compare to Bulat. And turtle aquarium that had been modified by me as her new home. LOL. Dont mind the burnt section as I have to clear it for the 'wheel to fit in the fender!'

And the worst part, they dont behave well if put together in the same cage. Haiya!

Bulat's Updates!

Bulat's getting more friendlier now compare to the 1st day we bought it. But she loves to bite our fingers. LOL. And maybe, Bulat's afraid of us. Who knows.

And Mok bought a new wheel toy for Bulat. First 2days, she didnt wanna touch it. And just now, she's so energetic and running on it finally! Zam said she's showing off and wanted to caught our attention so that we get her out from the cage. Who knows~

My New Friend!

Friend sucks. Most of the time. And MOST of them. Seriously. Until now, there are at least 4-5 times I'd been fucked up by my trusted friends. From high school till college friends. You really cannot trust anyone in this world. Not even your so called 'best friend', or 'best buddy'.

To me there are only a few that I categorized them as my REAL friend. The one that will not fuck up behind you, and will not stab behind you. So finally it make sense what my father used to said to me; 'If you want a long-term friends, dont stay in the same room with them in the college.' Hey, Im not saying my roomate NOW is sucks. What my dad meant is; dont get too close with them or you might hurt them or vice versa.

Its true. My classmates (few of them) do backstab behind me, talked bout me. And what's so unfair bout it, I dont talk bad bout em! Plus, most of the girls in the class now kinda dislike me thanks to the bad talk my so called 'friends' made. Its not that I care bout the girls, as they are TRULY not my taste and not so beautiful after all. If they are, I might consider to fight the rumors. LOL.

So.. Here's my new friend that wont bullshit, betray me. And the best, wont back-talk behind me.
