Jaguh Autoworks : Test Run at MAEPS.

I was pretty busy again this past few and coming weeks and I had totally forgotten to give an update on Jaguh's big project and honestly, it was a pretty boring life without my yellow car.
T_T

Anyway, more updates and finally a test run at MAEPS yesterday. Here's a clearer view of the roll cage. Still half-cage. Not a fully cage yet.

And introducing, welded diff by Jaguh Autoworks. Looks very freaky with the welding job. I'll update from time to time, whether this welded diff can stand the abuse from the hard usage, considering Jaguh's foot now is always heavy.

And also, custom made adjustable for ANY car. You name it. Any old car can be customize. And here's an adjustable for KE70 for Jaguh and Din. I'd tested it. Good handling improvement with a good price. Call Jaguh for more info!

And another project was to relocate the battery to the boot area.

Few this and that, and insulating the negative terminal. Sorry I cant be more helpful that usual coz I was tired and thirsty. Hehehe.

Weld the new bracket, and taraa! Relocated! And also, can ask Jaguh for the price. I'll be doing mine soon once I get my Bee back.

And we went to MAEPS Drift Run to test the car. Unfortunately there's no pics and no video recording taken coz it was dark. We were playing the night run. Din and Mok also was there. Overall, the car's handling factor increase dramatically. From the rollcage, adjustable set for front, and also the RX7 coil spring for rear. Jaguh will be making his custom RCA too soon.

Jaguh Autoworks : Roll Cage & Spot Weld.

Got this MMS this evening showing his latest creation. Proudly presenting, Jaguh Autoworks's Roll Cage! Well, at least it is halfway done. When I received this photo, I noticed something is different from other kind of half cage. The cross bar at the center is something that people don't usually do. Well, if you ask me, things turn out quite well for him.

So, anyone interested to have a roll cage? Or any suggestions so that Jaguh can improve? Price gotta ask Jaguh first. Anyway, when are you going to take measurement for my very own roll cage pula ya?! Dont forget my commission too! =P

And, the other one was, the spot welding job. Also done by Jaguh himself. Wtf man.. Jaguh had gone a mile ahead from me. Argh.

Jaguh Autoworks : Rollcage, anyone?

Got this MMS from Jaguh this evening showing his 'Do It Yourself' roll cage had taken shape! Jaguh will be making a full cage for him, a half cage for Din and for me? Im interested with half cage too. So, Jaguh will be taking my car's measurement next week in Ipoh and will do it a custom one for me too soon. Anyone have any advice or anything to share for the cage stuffs?

Anyway, anyone interested with the roll cage for KE70? Maybe Jaguh can make a copy of the cage if you are interested. Ask him for the price quotation.

Feature : Jaguh Autoworks Drift Machine in the Making!

Here's a sneak preview of Jaguh's drift machine in the making. Specs? I'd say almost illegal spec as the car will have full roll cage, super loud exhaust, keropok door and bonnet to super lighten the car, and of course 100% track/drift purpose machine. And it is his DAILY ride. Sick!

And what's so awesome to me is, he'll be doing it by himself as his final year project at MFI. Good luck in your project dude. This is one of the reason why I was so excited to repair my car, coz I wanna tsuiso with Jaguh soon. Just please dont bang my door or bumper! =P

Anyway, we had decided to follow Josh & Jeya's ideology for our ride, it is called STP. Standard Tapi Power! Which mean, we'll be using its old engine but will make it driftable. Or is it just an excuse coz we dont have enough RM to swap for SR20DET, 4AGE or 13BT?

Remember this stock 'uncle-spec' KE70, coz the next time we'll see it, it will not be the same machine anymore. This is Jaguh's work area. His college hangar. Complete tools to do anything you want and it is very cool to me.

Jaguh is lucky to have a car that has a very minimal rust on the floor.

And here's the 'new' exhaust for the car. Super short travel equals to very loud noise. We'll be making a side exit exhaust soon. Pipes only.

My very first drift event was with Jaguh's super stock KE70 at Bukit Jalil. This video was taken around a year ago I think. Gosh, I miss my very first excitement & the thrill when Jaguh let me drift with his car.

DIY : Lowering Block And It Hurts!

Gosh, I was super busy till I totally forgotten bout my blog. With the super stupid P1 Wimax that disconnected every 5 minutes, how da hell I wanna update!? Plus with my tight class schedule, that make it worse. Man, I need a day to rest. It was suppose to be today, a day free from my Bee.

And I had decided not to take the 3T and the Libero axle. The owner want the T50 gearbox that come along with the engine, so it will be more trouble for me to source one soon. And the Libero? Too much stuffs need to be made first before it can be plugged in. Solution?

I bought Wadi's 808 spare axle. Gosh, this particular axle is so rare that I need to have a spare axle if Im going to lock the other one.


The extra leaf. I wish I can fit all of em in my car to stiffen it.


And the reason I bought it? It came with a custom made lowering block and a longer U bolt to hold the leaf.


Mr Jaguh came to help. I really appreciate it. Thanks bro. Still not recover from the accident, and yet he came to help me.


And my brother suddenly wanna help around. So I asked him to loosen up the bolt. Until..


Bam! The leaf stressed out, and my brother's finger was stuck between the leaf and the jack, so I rushed to the clinic. The doctor said maybe his finger was already dislocated, so X Ray needed.


X Ray time. Luckily the doctor is very friendly dude, and so thus the nurse. Hehehe.

And, thanks to Jaguh, the block was fitted by the evening while I was at the clinic.

And if everything goes as I plan, my Bee will be send to Ipoh next week for a major job. I really cant wait for the day!

The workshop's plans are:
*Overhaul
*Port & polish
*Up the capacity till 1.6l (Did I said it correctly?)
*Camber & caster
*Weld the axle

And, I hope my budget is enough. Around RM 2k plus. And a full bodywork in Ipoh too maybe if the budget is sufficient. Anyone wanna sponsor me? Hehehe.

DIY : New Bearing.

Since the weekend is coming, I have set a few plan for Bee. The old bearing had been making a lot of noise lately. So, it needs a replacement, and so thus the naked bodypart need to be covered back with the damaged fender.

I returned home after I finished my class and called Jaguh to come. And since Jaguh is handicapped (LOL!), he was only instructing me and help a lil bit. Talking bout doing it myself make me proud. Har har har. At least I learned about a few stuffs today. What's the point of having a toy car if you didnt try to fix it yourself?

So, lets remove the tyre first.

Remove the inner bolt and the hub.

And its time to remove the bearing. I thought there was only one bearing, and turn out there was 2 of em. Both need to be replace.

We went to the spare part shop and get the new bearings. And I bought a new third brake lamp too.

After everything had been assembled back, Jaguh was doing the wiring and me?

I was painting the inner fender area with antirust paint.

And assembling back the fender. Unfortunately, it does not fit well and you can see the gap. Morale of the story, dont roll you fender unless your car spareparts is plenty. As for me? Where can I find a new set of it? Argh.. Anyway, thanks to Jaguh Autoworks for supervising me today.

DIY : Gauges and Radiator Shrout.

It's been awhile since my last update coz I dont have any mood on updating the latest project. Hehehe. Sigh, Im returning to UTM next week and Im not ready for the new semester. I want to stay at home and do more project on Bee. Huhuhu. Anyway, the Autobot stickers and Mazdaspeed wannabe sticker. Wee.

Already stick the Mazdaspeed sticker but I still cant decide where should I place the Autobot logo. Any idea?

While Mok was designing the gauges board, my roomate came for a sticker job. He just painted his car and interested with the Mini theme. So why not? At least I gain more experience on sticker job. Measuring and marking time.

End results! Looks good from far. Har har har.

Then there's Mr Jaguh Autoworks in action. Seriously if you asked me, wiring job is the hardest coz I cant imagine the wiring logic. LOL~ I failed my electric subject anyway.

My aircond fan that had not been working since my aircond motor gone. So, I asked Jaguh to do some wiring so that I can make it working for some extra air suction as an aid for the radiator fan. And luckily, I got one unused switch on the dashboard.

OEM with the dashboard. I wonder what is the original use of the switch?

The custom panel by Mok. Unfortunately the license plate is really weak and it broke into two after 1 gauge hole was made. So I will buy an advertising plastic board as it is much easier to work on,much lighter and reliable.

As for the radiator shroud, it was cut into two as the fan is too big and the distributor is really close to the radiator. The shroud was meant for Vannete C22/ A15 engine, and luckily my radiator is from the A15 engine also. Previous owner love to mix and match the engine parts I think.

The top shroud fits like a glove. LOL. As for the rear, Jaguh cut it into another half and only fit the right side only. So now Bee has a much better cooling system. Two working fan, one can be controlled from the inside, another one is direct (Im thinking of switching to a clutch fan soon), a shroud to channel the air, and I hope it works.

And I bought an Autogauge for the RPM. Unfortunetaly again, it is malfunctioning and it is not accurate at all, so I will exchange it tomorrow for a Jasma one.

My pet, Bujur (Oval) was sleeping on the couch while Im updating this post. Manage to woke him up with the flash. Gosh, this little creature is very cute.

DIY : Tail Lamp Restoration Project. Done!

Yep, the last part of the project. It is time consuming, but you can see the results now. And coincidentally, there are a few friends came to my house today for a visit. We'll go through later. And here is the tail lamp that I'd restored with so much love and care. LOL~


And who else to rely if not on Mr Jaguh, the big boss. Gosh, I wish everyone I knew is like him. Dash fitting process. Also time consuming coz troubleshooting the board circuit.

And the special guests of the day were, Asuramaru from Kelantan! He called me whether Im free or not, so I said we were fitting the tail lamp, so he said he'll come, and I pick him up at the nearby train station. He's the photographer of the day today.

And the other one is Afiq. One of my blog reader. Kelantanese also. Everyone came to see Jaguh in action. Kekekeke.

While Jaguh was fitting the meters, we were assembling back the tailies. Here's Asu in action. He's friendly and easy to get along with.

Then, Jaguh the expert was doing the wiring.

Done! Here's the new Bee. Oh, the emblem is too bulky so we decided not to fit it in.

And the new tailies. I guess I made a right desicion buyin it. Looks more 'muscle' now. Time to focus on a good wheels! Next! =P
