Jump.

Last day with the KX..
http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/384436_10150498411657473_537817472_9118008_710089633_n.jpg

Suzi RMX.

Went back to KL two days ago. When I arrived, someone called me and interested to buy my KX125. Without much thinking, we made a deal. Send the bike yesterday at Klang at 11pm, and then I open up the browser on my Blackberry that showed this Suzuki RMX for sale in Pahang. Quite a time for sale, so I called him and asked about the bike. He said still available and I said I wanna come now to check the bike.

Bye KX.

A bit inproper time to call a seller, with a sleepy tone he said OK. I said I'll be there at 3am. So I went back to Kajang, our hangout place/workshop, borrowed the workshop's pickup truck. And it suprised me when the owner, Ken told me he wanna come with me to Temerloh since that is his hometown. He said why not, plus I had not been going here and there for some time already. My brother decided to follow us too.

Ken's pickup truck named Fail-Lady.

Fuel filled up and ready to go! Ken used to drift also before he started the workshop.

After about 3hours, we arrived at Chenor, Pahang. Waited for the owner to guide us to his home to check out the bike.
We checked out the bike immediately. Its a Suzuki made. Its 2-stroke and it is a 250cc bike with coolant. 2-stroke do come with Power Valve nowadays. Power Valve; VTEC/MIVEC sort alike for a bike lah to keep it simple. I believed its a 1999 RMX. Its a trail bike, not an MX like the KX.

After some testing here and there and a throughout inspection by Ken, of course he's more expert than me. Pointing out here and there some repairs needed, the budget and finally me and the owner come to the main point of this meet up, the price. After some negotiation, its a deal and it is sold to me. Ken tied the bike behind and we were off to KL back around 6am.

Ken drove all the way from Kajang to Chenor and then back again to KL. Its 7.30am and we reached the last RnR before the Gombak exit. Ken told me to drive since he's sleepy.

Arrived safely at Kajang around 9.30pm. Pretty bad traffic in MRR2 from Gombak to Cheras. Drop the bike and its time for me to test it.

After a few round, and Im smiling ear to ear now. After all my banner in this blog had been the Suzuki RMZ450. And for 2-stroke, 250 is the highest cc available. So, some sort dream come true I guess.

I had been dreaming to have this bike since late December. A friend gave me a link for this bike, and had been wishing to have it since then. Power of visualization perhaps?

Time for me to get some rest. Oh, by the way, would like to say a big thank you to the Wai Keong Motor owner, Ken and my brother for accompanying me to Pahang. Its unplanned and random act. All in all, we made it back home safely. Alhamdulilah.

Mashup.

Some new stuffs for the bike. Since the fork boots already torn, bought a new Acerbis fork gaiters to replace it.

2litre water bag for easy drinking during trail.

A new gear lever. The old one really need to be replaced after a few fall down.

A complete set of Demak DTM cover set. Kawasaki bike with Demak cover set?

Fitting time. Should be done in a few weeks. Ken said its possible with some bracket welding. Since I cannot source out the original complete cover set I might opt for this one. Of course I am not gonna keep the original stickers.

Most of the Kajang Dirt Bike Team riders send their bikes here. Also some of them keep their bikes here. That include me also. Never keep it at home now.  Young owner, Mr Ken. Very friendly and will listen to their customers. We all get along with him and his wife. Also an ex-scram rider. So a good place for us to hangout and repair/source items for our bikes. Here's the shop's direction if you are nearby.

The next day. Clean the bike in the river. God, 2-stroke is the best. Plus a super light chassis makes it even better.
http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/380833_302979879724181_100000365135158_1068739_521913124_n.jpg

Now the only problem is the gearing change. And its height.
http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/387835_302981183057384_100000365135158_1068781_614357874_n.jpg

Enjoyed the jungle trekking. More photos later.

JDM?

Bike's gonna be in the workshop for another week for all around check up. Its okay. Better one shot rather than few times problem.

Custom chain guard from Kriss.
http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/382755_10150410588792002_643222001_8404914_1325502496_n.jpg

Used timing belt as the 'bullet' for second chain guard.

And just noticed that the rims are made in Japan yawww. DID yawww. No Taiwan or China bullshit yawww. And the rim's feature a tube-lock to hold the tube if it is punctured. And I still can get out of the woods with a punctured tube with the lock. And Kenda tire; which is one of the premium brand for off-road tire and cost a bomb too.
http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/297820_10150410591352002_643222001_8404921_1124455576_n.jpg

Radiator's been painted. Looks nice. Also the head had been skimmed and all gasket and oil seal had been replaced. No major damage luckily. Frame gonna be sprayed too. Gonna need to replace the rear absorber too. Oh, the handle bar comes from Renthal. Another original stuff yawww.

KX125.

Same year model like my KX, and I am hoping the bike gonna be ready by this weekend. Hope so.

Kiwisaki III.

Some pose during Raya with my dear. Everyone went back to kampung except me and my brother. And did you know the bike is freakingly tall? Almost 3/4 my height.
http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/312784_10150389801297002_643222001_8328693_2038675447_n.jpg

Sporting enough to dirty up a bit her dress to pose with the bike.
http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/308970_10150389800782002_643222001_8328690_124723258_n.jpg

New handguard that gonna be fitted on the bike.
http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/374672_10150397029052002_643222001_8360369_1457155279_n.jpg

And also finally after keeping some money, I bought an off-road pants to complete up my collection. Gosh, why must the pants be that expensive.
http://a1.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/382805_10150397030247002_643222001_8360371_608682422_n.jpg

Well, that's that. Enough rants for now.

Kiwisaki II.

So, on the Raya Aidiladha, decided to test the bike on our usual trail route. Sg. Long-Semenyih route. Bike is powerful, and I noticed some stuffs that need to be taken care such as the need for me to top up water in the radiator and also leakage on some of the engine parts.
http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/306414_10150389797837002_643222001_8328679_2132580779_n.jpg

Only finished some route due to two bikes that had trouble with their chain. So we decided to went back coz its only two of us left. Another problem with the bike is that there's no stand to hold the bike (Its a race bike), and also the idling is not consistent.
http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/297842_10150389798527002_643222001_8328681_1189165701_n.jpg

The next day I decided to have another shot again with them Kajang Dirt Bike Team.
http://a4.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/319499_10150391031457002_643222001_8337533_135120936_n.jpg
http://a2.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/315834_10150391030227002_643222001_8337530_1814728813_n.jpg

It has the power and the light chassis is very very fun. Easily can pull up the bike whenever I want. And not to mention, it has a very good fuel consumption too despite being a two stroke bike. From Bandar Teknologi to Connaught (20km approx), it only cost me RM3 of fuel.

Pose with the bike.
http://a7.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/390920_10150391032182002_643222001_8337535_1543523566_n.jpg

Take five in the woods.
http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/313195_10150391032487002_643222001_8337537_1029566581_n.jpg

No stand mean I had to put it on other's bike. Tumpang Kasih Sayang as in our term. Noticed that I had not removed the plastic that wrap up the seat.
http://a6.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/383217_10150391032677002_643222001_8337539_1300524125_n.jpg

Steeeeeeep downhill. Not only it is steep, also slippery due to the rainy weather.
http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/380101_10150391033147002_643222001_8337543_924692135_n.jpg

Downhill.
http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/388925_10150391033252002_643222001_8337544_1637589290_n.jpg

Last rest point before we hit back the civilization.
http://a3.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc7/s720x720/392096_10150391033707002_643222001_8337549_2084715380_n.jpg

And I went straight to Bandar Teknologi again to the bike shop. Its time to rebuild the bike. From the cover set, to the engine, and also replacing the bushes and bearings.

Strip up!
http://a8.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-ash4/s720x720/373897_10150391033877002_643222001_8337550_752239548_n.jpg

10 minutes later. Foreman told me that the bike is using an aftermarket exhaust system. Must cost a fortune to buy it if it is new. Something from Kawasaki Racing Team, oh I forgot the name of it.
