BBS BBS fake.

My brother had been nagging to change the stock Neo's wheels. So after a while I'd say why not.. So we both agree to opt the BBS. I still prefer the fake TE37SL over this. But since this is the widest we can get, so we opt this.

Spec was 16' x 7j +40 and the rear one is 7.5j +42. The offset will be counter by a 1' spacer soon enough so that we can get a nicer fitment.

Ditch the red BBS cap, back to Proton cap.

There's small changes in the acceleration. This is due to that the stock wheels are very heavy. This wheels lighter than the stock one. Now fitment is nicer but I prefer it with spacer. Soon. I guess we both will change to a firmer coil over soon so that the car is lower thus better fitment. My brother already did a 4-2-1 extractor, aftermarket bullet and an S-Flow exhaust. I am still with the stock setup. Cant focus on two things. With bike and car, I prefer the bike for now.

Florescented?

I hate delaying new updates coz when I update it, it will be a bulk update! Every time I do it, it will be two or three new topics at one time. Thanks to the exam and lack of internet line, I cannot post it on time. Ok, so Rolla is not with me currently. Where she went?

Currently at Jeembo's Garage for some repairs. So, why now? Actually I fed-up already with the leaking here and there. And also regularly topping up the engine oil is expensive! So already told them to change all the gasket, also the power steering leaking issue. Asked them to replace whatever leaked it. And anyone noticed that Rolla's axle become too noisy now?

DIY : Florescent Rims.

Too bored today, so decided to get myself busy. OK, so here's the process.

Subject : Dull 15' Fondmetal wheels.

The first step is to clean up the wheels. Use a detergent to make sure there is no dirt or oil left.

Sand it like there's no tomorrow. Just a light pressure is enough to wash away the top layer of the paint.

After that, dried it up and it is ready to be painted.

The spray cans consist of Flat White, Florescent Orange and the other that I forgot to buy is Clear Coat. The reason I choose Flat White as a primer is because flat color usually has rough surface, and white color will reflex the florescent color quite well and it is much easier to detect the unevenness when you are spraying the orange color.

Flat White as a primer. 4-5 layers should be enough. As for me, 1 can is for 2 wheels, so I just sprayed it layer by layer till the can is empty. Put more layer at the lip and the bolt area coz that is the usual place that will be scratched. The reason I didn't tape up the tires are because that is a set of bald tires that will be changed soon. Save up some of my time too.

Check for bubbles or unevenness at each layer. Sand it lightly to remove it.

The hard part is the first layer of Orange. Check out the unevenness. Well, the solution for this problem is just to wait for it to dry. Then touch up the area that is still in white color till every part of the rims have the same color. The color is too bright till my camera cant really focus on it.

Spray, spray and keep spraying.

And the results? Oh, don't forget to spray a few layer of clear coat so that the rims will be shining and less brake dust will stick.

Since my car will be white, it should turn up like this.

Random : More New Toys.

This week's project is ready to go! Main project is the DIY gauges panel. Here's some materials, a drawing board, an empty plate number, gauges, and etc as shown.

Some rough sketches on the drawing board. Old school vacuum meter is fitted here.

New replacement flare from PlayHouse Garage. They accidentally gave me a pair of right fenders only, so they gladly replaced it. Good attitude seller and the fenders have been sanded. Why? Will fit it back becoz..

Just got myself a pair of Wedsports! 13' only with 7jj and -1 offset. Hehehe. 7jj is the reason I took it.

And a bee figure. LOL~ Will remove the spring and replace with a mounting cup and rope. Where should I place it?

Radiator fixed & AutoSol time!

Just took my car from the 'keeper' yesterday. I didnt leave my car at home nor at my college.

Radiator had been welded, service and painted. Looks good BUT the temp is still rising. Any idea where else should I check? Water pump is still working according to Mr. Jaguh.

AutoSol time. Did it with the help from Mok.

'Mazda' wording at the grill had been highlighted with paint marker.

Unfortunately, the rain fall down. So gotta stop first. Just finished front and rear lip only.

Emm, muscle enough?

Emm, finally; my last day at home. Just arrived at my hostel. Sigh. Kinda miss my Muzda already. Hehehe. Geram coz a few minor stuff didnt manage to settle yet.

Met with Josh last night to pick up my rims. Bought the rims from Jeyaraj. Very patient and good attitude seller. And cleaned it up in the same night. So this morning, go to nearby tyre shop to fit in the new rim. Looks OK, but as usual, more problems encountered~

So here's some pics on Stanley's request!
(p/s: Will be getting a used 808 speedometer soon. Me and Jaguh also cant stand to watch the RXZ speedo..Hahaha)

Front:

Rear:

The problems? Here it is!

Stud toooooo short!! Need to go to Jeembo's this weekend to change to a longer stud. Problems only occur for rear rims.

And of coz, with offset and wide rim, fender will be eating the tyres. Damn~ As expected, so will refer to Jeembo also to roll the fender.
