Traffic Jam is No Good.

What on earth is happening to KL traffic nowadays? Was going out around 8-9pm something and I was on MRR2 heading to Ampang. And it was jammed like it is 5pm on working day. I usually got the unexpected traffic jam these days. Im tired of living in KL area. Long stretch of cars and the best part was the Rolla's clutch is freakin' heavy to press.

So I'm assuming that Rolla is equipped with racing clutch. So, as a result? Crammed leg now. And soon my left leg will be much stronger and muscular than my right leg. Haha. Was bored, so I snapped a dashboard photo.

Most of the time the revving is around 1.4k to 1.9k RPM (Is it normal?) and it will drop a lil bit if I switched on the aircond. Water temperature is normal I guess. Around 60-70 degree depending on the weather and traffic. Idling boost is around -0.6 and -0.4. And the battery's voltage is around 12v-12.5v.

And the welded diff noise is annoying too when the speed reached 60km/h and above. Huah. Will change to 2way LSD when I got some spare money.

So, my mum suggest me to paint the car with Mettalic or Pearl White since she want all of the cars at home to be white. I want an Orange Yellow color, but I guess I'll go with white to fulfill my mum's wish. And she asked me to change the plate number to 3345 too so that all the cars will have the same number. Will try to ask Mr. JPJ bout this matter soon.

Rolla's 1st Service

Since tomorrow is Christmas a.k.a holiday (Again! Gosh, I love this year's December! Every Friday is a holiday! Hahaha) , I had decided to go back home since nobody's will be staying at hostel. So, class finished at 12pm, and I arrived at home at 3pm and went to the local workshop to service the Rolla. So, up up the ramp. And it revealed the dark secret..


Leaking! Hah, I swear I had checked the other day when the first time looking at it. Mostly came from the power steering and a lil from the engine. Sigh, I will not bring down the engine in this short time so I guess I need to top up the engine oil weekly if needed.


Was using 15-40 engine oil. Dunno if it's the correct choice or not. And also changed the gearbox oil, the oil filter, topping up the power steering fluid, radiator coolant and what not. And the good news is, the Rolla's body is in a good condition! Yay. No holes and undercarriage rust.

And also send it for some cleaning job. Dont care if the front part is damaged, I want the car to be clean. ^^


And so far the fuel consumption? Hohoho. Bad bad bad. Need to lighten up my leg from now on. RM50 for this two day and its empty already. Hahahaha. So, time to relax at home and enjoy the weekend~

Rolla Rolla.

Ok, so today I went to pick up my new car and also kinda scary coz paying it cash. Hahaha. Thanks to my roomate and my toilet mate for accompanying me to do the transaction. Emm, will change the owner's name by next week I guess. Driving feeling? Awesome. Never in my life got a chance to drive a turbo car. So it was a good and new experience for me.

So, here's my first day with her. Still need a list of restoration. Need a bodywork. Huhu.

Messy engine.. Maybe need a new blow off valve and some check up. Hopefully everything will be OK.

The boot. Noisy fuel pump, surge tank and the battery. Make me dizzy after awhile inhaling the fuel fume. Hahaha.

One of the earliest person that came to check out the car is Din. And again, he had a new set of rims. Longchamp.. LOL. So from now, I'll be calling Din by his new nickname, Din Longchamp! And he's the responsible person that had been poisoning me to change to try 4AGE.

And as a start, my fender mirror had arrived. Yay.. More update soon! :D

The Decision..

My toy model almost done.. Hehehe. Red color does suit KE70.



Anyway, here's the real deal. After thinking and talking to a few friends, I had decided to take the risk of buying this one. Uhh, hopefully everything's OK. Just paid off the deposit, so will get the car in 2-3days maybe.



Interior wise? Complete and OK-OK maybe.

Just bored. I guess this is the perfect example for KE70 owners. Hmm.

The specs:

Its a Toyota Corolla KE70 DX . Which mean it has a round headlamp and chrome bumper. Which most likely I will swap it with GL face lift and retain its chrome bumper.

The heart? Its the 4AGE Silvertop 20valve with 4 throttle and with some bonus, a turbo. And its JPJ approved. So less one hassle but the turbo hassle is unknown. It was already drifted and got some minor crash at the front. So the car need to be send to body shop to pull it back.

The rest? Body still OK, paintwork can be hold for a while. And one thing Bee doesn't have and this car have are aircond and radio that is working. Hahaha. Using S13 front adjustable, along with the brake system, which mean 13' and 14' will not fit. Hmm.

Still cant decide it yet, some said OK, some said not so OK.. Hmm. Every votes counted. So, still cant make a decision. Will think for a few days.

Oh, a new semester started already and I still didn't have any mood. Huah. Why I changed my mind from RB20DET to 4AGE? Coz I'm afraid that I cannot afford to fill up the car for my daily riding. And of coz with great power, come great responsibility. Which clearly, Im NOT a responsible person. Hahaha.
