Kinda interested to get one of this. Still dunno how does it works, and what is the benefit of using it, but one thing for sure, it is LOUD. And I am in love with it.
it also called "down pipe". u can custom made urself as well. sound like wastegate ... garang ... no benefit. just the sound. maybe will effect a very very little bit of ur engine performance .. but u wont notice/realize it ... so no worry.

Its an open pipe connected to ur wastegate... so the extra boost will directly go out thru the pipe. correct me if im wrong
