Question : 20v Blacktop Trumpets.
Okay, so basically my car is swapping to Blacktop from Silvertop at the moment. And the only thing that I do not have is the trumpets since the airbox cannot be fitted after the RWD conversion.
So the foreman just reuse back the 'trunk' from the airbox. It should look like this soon.
Also had been reading for other options such as individual air filter from K&N.
Available at ZTH 2years ago. No more now..

Or this trumpets.. Either custom made or branded one.
My question is:
*How much does the air flow affect the performance?
*Trumpets without filter - How about the dust, moist, stone, or bugs entering the intake and harming the internals?
*Trumpets - 'Cap Ayam/DIY from stainless steel cup' VS reputable brand? Pro and cons?
Lets say that I want to maintain the individual throttle body (ITB) feature, how can I cover the ITB from all the possible harms?
*Im kinda interested with the K&N, but not available. Any other brand that makes it?
*Also some said that bike's filter also good, anyone know the price? For example:
*Or should I go with a DIY solution which is to 'sandwich' out a wire mesh, kitchen sponge and wire mesh?
Also asked in drift.com.my already. Just wanna get some information. Come voice out your opinion. Thanks!

*How much does the air flow affect the performance? About 1~5 hp.
*Trumpets without filter - How about the dust, moist, stone, or bugs entering the intake and harming the internals? Dust, sand leaves and also plastic bag can go in side.
*Trumpets - 'Cap Ayam/DIY from stainless steel cup' VS reputable brand? Pro and cons? Branded ones are claiming to have better air flow but both is the same as there is no more filter.
Recommend to have a filter. (Wire mesh will not work on sand, dust or water)
Thanks Vince for voicing out your opinion.
I think I am going to maintain the 4-throttle. Got a friend told me there is carburetor filter for bike that maybe can suite the trumpet.
there is this shop in subang selling those trumpets..
wide variety..plus u can choose colour and type of material that suits ur budget..:P
as for me the flow of the air doesnt contribute much(no mixture of fuel in this area)..but the total lenght of the trumpet it self which give it high, med or low range of power..
just my 2cent...:-)
Any contact number Wan? Would love to visit the shop..
